A riverfront park in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is more like 11 parks in one and it's a place where everyone is welcome and no admission is charged. The park, the concept of philanthropist George Kaiser, opened in September and was just named the best new attraction in the country.
The goal of the park, which will eventually cover 100 acres, is to provide a place where everyone can come play and fuel their imaginations. It was funded by more than 80 corporate and philanthropic groups, with the Kaiser Foundation taking lead, a park spokesman said.
