A few practical tips for anyone house hunting this season and this Valentine’s Day weekend!

• Talk through priorities upfront:
Kitchen/Dining room space needs for family meals or are you an air fry it and go family? No judgement from me!😂 Extra space for hobbies or guests? Quiet neighborhood or extra acreage to sprawl?
Getting aligned early saves us time and sets concise search criteria.

• Check your numbers: Get pre-approved so you’re ready when the right place shows up. I cant stress this one enough, and am always happy to recommend a few wonderful locall lenders! Rates are holding steady around 6.09% for a 30-year fixed (Freddie Mac this week)—better affordability than last year.

• Take your time touring: February usually means more inventory and motivated sellers before spring gets busy. Less pressure, better decisions.

• Focus on what matters long-term: Location, layout, and how it supports your daily life always beats chasing trends! Read that one again 👀
