If the housing market in Merced, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin Counties had a personality right now, it would be “doing a little bit of everything.”
Homes for sale are down just 1%, with 31 fewer homes on the market, so inventory is still a little tight. But here’s where it gets interesting… pending homes are up 12%, with 109 more buyers jumping in and getting homes under contract 👀
Meanwhile, closed sales dipped slightly by 2%, with 18 fewer homes actually crossing the finish line. Translation? Buyers are active, but some are taking their time sealing the deal.
Overall, the market is moving… just not sprinting. More like a steady jog with the occasional coffee break ☕
