This Friday marks 25 years since September 11, 2001 — and somehow, it still feels like yesterday. The lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heartbreak our country felt still weigh heavy.

This year, I’m choosing to commemorate the day by doing something good. I’ll be volunteering at a mobile food pantry.

I’d love for you to join me in honoring the day through your own service. service.

Find one thing you can do. Volunteer an hour. Help a neighbor. Donate to a local organization. Buy someone a meal. It doesn’t have to be big — it just has to come from the heart.

Maybe one of the best ways we can Remember the Day is by remembering how we came together in the days that followed — and choosing to do that again. 🇺🇸❤️

Which Countertop Material Do Homeowners Regret Most?

According to Diana Viera, a countertop expert, “Marble is a material people typically regret for kitchen countertops because it requires constant care and attention to maintain its original look.” Marble is incredibly prone to staining, as it is a soft and porous material that easily absorbs anything that spills on it,” she explains. Whether you accidentally spill a glass of red w**e or oil spits from a sizzling hot pan, marble will absorb the spills and become stained. “Other things that may be placed on or land on the counter, like hot pans, acidic foods, or knife chopping, will also weaken the surface over time, leading to scratches or cracks,” she adds.

So...what's the best choice? For countertops, Viera recommends Quartzite because it's a beautiful, durable material. It is heat-resistant, withstands high cooking temperatures, and doesn't scratch or dent as easily as other materials, she adds.

When it comes to pricing, Quartzite may be more expensive than marble, but it’s likely a better choice in the long run. What do you think? Marble or another material?

“Wait… you bought ME a house?” 🐾🏡
The head tilt. The excitement. The mental checklist of all the important things:
✔️ A fenced yard for zoomies✔️ Windows for neighborhood watch duty✔️ A mudroom for muddy paws✔️ Room for ALL the toys✔️ A bed in every single room (obviously)
Let’s be honest… most dogs don’t care about granite countertops or open floor plans. They just want a place to chase squirrels, nap in sunbeams, and be close to their people. ❤️
If your fur baby has been hinting that it’s time for a new address, I’d love to help you find the perfect place to call home.
What’s on YOUR pet’s must-have list?

The problem: a transfer student athlete comes to UA - already training with the team…BUT living in an extended stay until we could find a new T-Town home. 🔍
The solution: Watercress for the win! Congrats to my new condo owner on your closing yesterday! And thank you for the opportunity to work with you. Can’t wait to see you wearing the “A” and watch you compete. Roll Tide!
