I know many of you are watching Alabama vs. Georgia in the championship game tonight. I wanted to direct your attention to an important need right now. A few weeks ago, I had Holly Douglas on the show to share about her family’s needs associated with her husband, Will, being hit by a vehicle in Tuscumbia while he was delivering packages on foot. He has been recovering slowly, but surely. Right now, Holly needs 74 leave days to be able to care for Will as he continues to recover from a traumatic brain injury in Atlanta, Georgia. As an employee with Hartselle City Schools, Holly can receive sick leave days from any Alabama public school employee, grades K-12, who is a member of the sick leave bank. It can be a teacher or any employee who is a member of the sick leave bank. It is not limited to teachers. She really needs these days. If you or someone you know can donate sick days, please do.
