I recently attended the Mohawk Mountain House annual tulip festival. What an amazing event. It was of particular interest to me to visit the tulip festival, given my Dutch heritage in bulb farming.

The staff at Mohawk Mountain House is so knowledgeable in gardening and specifically now in Tulips. Mohawk Mountain House is set among the Shawangunk Ridge overlooking broad expanse of the mid Hudson Valley. Just near New Paltz. It's also a launching off point for unique destinations in the New Paltz and Catakills area. It is one of the most historic hotels in America and is well known as a luxury retreat with outdoor activities galore, a place to truly restore and refresh your soul and energy.

It's worth a visit to the tulip festival if you have a chance. Although this is just one of the many amazing offerings this unique hospitality destination has on tap.

The Rusty Goat Grill is a local Warwick, NY cafe, a family run operation and well worth a visit. Try fresh pressed sandwiches (one of my favorites is the CUBANO!) baked good and smoothies, and even explore their retail "vintage treasures" items for sale; find them in store and online!. Tucked away just off of Main street, on Warwick's Carriage Path and adjacent to the scenic Waywayanda Creek, the locale is comfortable and unique. Sidewalk and indoor dining available, you must give it a try. The Rusty Goat keeps Warwick's charm-filled village visitors and locals fueled up and full of good vibes. Get to know: Tuxedo, NY! Dottie Audrey's Bakery Kitchen in Tuxedo, New York is a hometown favorite. For over a decade, Dottie Audrey's has been serving up the highest quality scratch-made home cooking, with friendly and timely service. Their baked goods - including some of the finest breads around - desserts, dine-in meals and take-out family meals are oh so special. My personal favorites include (but are not limited to!)
