Looking for full time help, hours would be 8am-430pm M-F (40 hours a week) $18/hr+bonus after 30 days employment
Must be willing and able to work.
Must have a good work ethic.
Experience in apartment/ residential maintenance a plus.
Must have a knowledge of minor electrical work, plumbing knowledge and experience.
Must be able to lift 50lb.
Must be able to work on ladders and scaffolding.
Painting with be an essential task.
Completing work orders and turning units are daily tasks. Background check will be conducted due to the need to enter tenant residences.
Grounds keeping is required; trash pick up daily, weeding, raking leaves and snow removal as needed- Lawn mowing company is retained for mowing/ trimming/ fertilizing.
Must be able and willing to work with other people (Office Staff) and supervision (Property Supervisor- located of site)
Must have good people skills and be able to work with tenants.
Must be willing and able to perform all work to our expectations and policies.
MUST be a self-starter. Must be able to accomplish task unsupervised. Must be able to create daily work list and weekly/ monthly task lists.

We are looking for a Skilled Maintenance Worker to perform upkeep tasks in a professional manner such as repairs and painting including but not limited to: upkeep of grounds, turning units and skilled in fixing and repairing apartments and town homes. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

Perform painting activities such as, painting inside and outside of apartments.
Perform minor fixes such as holes in sheet rock and texture, filling gaps on walls, repairing broken locks, etc.
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
Install appliances and equipment
Do garden/yard upkeep by trimming bushes, collecting trash etc.
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and replacing light ballast.
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Skills

Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in maintenance is required
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $13.00 to $18.00 /hour DOE
