📈 Mortgage Rate Update

Inflation came in higher than expected at 4.2%, largely driven by rising food, gas, and transportation costs. Because of this, the Federal Reserve is likely to keep rates unchanged at its upcoming meeting.

🏡 What does this mean for mortgage rates?

While today's report doesn't suggest a significant drop in rates over the next 30 days, the bond market is holding up well, helping mortgage rates remain relatively stable.

My outlook: expect rates to stay within their current range with normal day-to-day movement, rather than a major decline in the near term.
