This Mother’s Day, I want to do something special in remembrance of my mom, Juanita. 💕
To many she was Juanita…
To my kids, she was Nana…
But to me, she was my mom, my best friend, my unconditional love. Today marks 5 months. 🙏
There wasn’t a single day we didn’t talk, so learning how to live without her has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. Life can be hard to understand sometimes, but through God’s grace and my faith, I truly believe she is in a better place and still guiding me from heaven every day.
In the middle of all this pain, I’ve also realized how blessed I am by the love and support surrounding me. My clients, friends, work family, and everyone who has checked on me, prayed for me, supported my business, or simply shown kindness… thank you from the bottom of my heart. Work and all of you have truly helped me keep going during this season of my life. So in honor of my mom and the beautiful relationship we shared, I want to bless another mother and daughter (or son & mom) with a special day together — the kind of day me and my mom loved spending together.
