🏡 The Real Side of Real Estate 🤔💼
Most people see the fun side of this job—the house hunting, the "Sold!" signs, and the happy closing day pictures. And don’t get me wrong, I love those moments! But behind every smooth closing is a massive, invisible machine with a million moving parts.
Between lenders, title companies, inspectors, appraisers, and agents on both sides, there are so many people in the mix. Real estate is the ultimate team sport, and if just one person drops the ball, misses a deadline, or stops communicating, the whole train can get derailed fast. Delays are incredibly frustrating for everyone involved.
But here is the secret: My goal is for my clients to never even feel the bumps.
As an agent, it’s my job to carry that burden. It’s my job to stay calm, problem-solve in the background, and just get it done.
Does it take a toll? Absolutely. There are nights I wake up at 2 AM with instant anxiety about a deal, running through checklists and scenarios in my head. We carry a lot on our shoulders for our clients—way more than anyone on the outside will ever know.
But at the end of the day, shielding my clients and getting them safely across the finish line makes every sleepless night worth it.
