🍦☀️ What better way to celebrate the last day of school than with ice cream in the park!
It was great seeing families, friends, and neighbors come together to kick off summer with sweet treats and plenty of smiles. Wishing all our students, teachers, and families a fun, safe, and relaxing summer break!

It took me years to find my path in real estate.

For a long time, I felt like I was either being too salesy or not salesy enough. Neither felt right.

What finally clicked for me was realizing that I could build a business by being part of my community.

Getting to know my neighbors.
Supporting local businesses.
Hosting events that bring people together.
Sharing information that helps people.

Over time, those connections turned into relationships, and those relationships turned into trust.

A while back, I had the opportunity to sit down with my coach and friend, Karen Coffey and share some of the ways I've used community engagement to grow my business over the last 21+ years in Northern Virginia. Thank you, Karen, for the invitation.

Three simple words, but they mean something different to everyone.

For some, it's where they've raised a family.
For others, it's where they're starting a new chapter.

No matter where you are in your journey, home should be a place that brings comfort, confidence, and peace.

That's something worth protecting, and when the time comes, worth transitioning thoughtfully.

I was recently representing a seller in a multiple-offer situation, and it was such a good reminder that it’s not always about the highest price.
When sellers review offers, they’re looking at the entire picture.
Is the paperwork complete and accurate?
Does the financing make sense for the offer price?
Does the earnest money show commitment?
Are the timelines clean and realistic?
Does the offer feel organized and solid from start to finish?
There’s a lot more strategy involved than most people realize.
This is why having an experienced agent matters — someone who understands how to structure a strong offer, communicate clearly, and pay attention to the details that can absolutely influence a seller’s decision.
In competitive markets, those details matter.
