Lake County, CA (July 6, 2026) – The Lake County Community Development Department is seeking input from Short-Term Rental owners and operators as the County develops regulations for Short-Term Rentals in unincorporated areas.

The department will convene an ad hoc committee to review potential regulations and participate in a series of virtual and in person meetings. Meetings are expected to begin in mid-July and continue monthly until a draft ordinance is completed.

Short-Term Rental owners or operators interested in participating should contact Community Development Director Mireya G. Turner at [email protected] or 707-263-2221.
