Carpenter ants don’t come with tiny tool belts… unfortunately. 😂🐜
It gave me a laugh, but carpenter ants are no joke.
Unlike termites, carpenter ants don’t eat wood, they excavate it to build their nests, and over time that can lead to costly damage.
One of the most important parts of a home inspection is recognizing the signs of issues like these. While I’m not a pest control specialist, I know what to look for and when something deserves further evaluation.
If I find evidence of carpenter ants or another wood-destroying pest, I’ll explain exactly what I’m seeing and recommend the appropriate specialist to evaluate and treat the issue. My goal isn’t just to identify concerns, it’s to help connect my clients with the right professionals so they can move forward with confidence.
That’s the value of a thorough home inspection: understanding what’s there, what it means, and what the next step should be.
