Out with the old, in with the new!

This West Manchester, Ohio project involved a full attic restoration process, removing old blown-in cellulose insulation, sanitizing and odor sealing the attic space, and then reinstalling fresh blown-in cellulose insulation back to an R-49 value for improved energy efficiency and comfort.

A lot of homeowners don’t realize that insulation performance can decline over time due to settling, contamination, moisture, or odors. Sometimes the best solution is starting fresh with a clean, properly insulated attic system.

From demo day to energy-efficient rebuild. 🔨

This bathroom remodel started with a full gut job, giving us the opportunity to properly insulate the space before everything gets closed back up.

We installed spray foam insulation to help air seal the walls, improve comfort, and reduce energy loss in one of the most moisture-prone rooms in the house. Bathrooms are often overlooked when it comes to insulation, but proper sealing can make a huge difference in comfort and long-term performance.

Update from our Fort Recovery farmhouse renovation project.

A little while back, we showed the insulation vac-out process on this old farmhouse remodel. Now that the cleanup and prep work is complete, here’s a look at the next phase as the project keeps moving forward.

This home was completely gutted to the studs with new upstairs living space being added, and we’re helping transform it into a much tighter, more energy-efficient home for years to come.

We sealed up the exterior walls and knee walls with 2.5” of closed cell spray foam to create a strong air seal and deliver an R-19 value throughout the structure.

Projects like this are a great reminder that insulation isn’t just about adding material, it’s about rebuilding the entire building envelope the right way from the start.
