LinkedIn turns 23 years old in 2023.
Something we get asked often is how does it compare to Facebook for lead generation for Realtors.
Here is our 5 cents...
There is no doubt about it, Facebook can generate amazing results. However, it is very much set up with 'pay to play' in mind. It would costs circa $1,000 to set up a campaign and then an ad-budget of circa $2,000 a month (plus 20% going to the marketing manager). It gives the impression that anyone can run ads and it is for beginners. We disagree.
If done right there is no doubt it can change your business. But anything less than perfection it will end up costing you tens of thousands (we have been there.
LinkedIn on the other hand offers a much more organic approach to the question of lead generation.
You can define an audience in minutes and simply connect and engage with that individual at the modest cost of time. With 200M million users in the US alone you can talking to your ideal client in matter of days making an insane ROI for Realtors.
Better yet, LinkedIn is widely underrated and over looked by Realtors so there simply isn't the ferocious competition that you have on the likes of Facebook and Instagram and tremendously easier to 'stand out'.
