Nekita Martins was on the career path of becoming a teacher when she obtained her real estate license in 2013 during her sophomore year of college. The Newark native and Montclair State University alumnus wanted to work in real estate, and started doing so even before she was awarded her diploma. he buyer started crying because she never thought she'd be able to purchase a house – that was the moment. I didn't know how beneficial I really was to a buyer or a seller before that happened." Nekita keeps her workaholic tendencies ‘somewhat' balanced with good food, family, friends and enjoying the little things life has to offer. She enjoys daily walks with her dog Lola, a Boston Terrier and works alongside her life partner Nelson Mota servicing their real estate clients. Nekita is fluent in the Portuguese and Spanish language. In addition, Nekita also sits as a trustee for the New Jersey Realtors Educational Foundation and is a licensed NJ Real Estate Instructor.
