🏁💙 MEET OUR 2026 HOMECOMING GRAND MARSHAL: BRIAN QUINT! 💙🏁
From an unforgettable run in the blue and white to an All-American college football career, decades of giving back to local athletics, and now watching the next generation of his family represent Putnam County, Brian Quint, PCHS Class of 1990, knows a thing or two about Putnam County pride.
And this Homecoming, we’re proud to welcome him back to the front of the pack.
Brian was a standout three-sport athlete at PCHS, competing in football, basketball, and track while also earning membership in the National Honor Society. He was part of the historic 1989 football team that completed an undefeated regular season and advanced all the way to the State Championship Game. As a senior in track, Brian brought home four State medals, including runner-up finishes in the 400-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay.
His football career continued at Graceland University, where he became a three-year starter. As a senior, Brian led the nation with 11 interceptions and earned unanimous First Team All-American honors.
But some of his favorite moments in blue and white have come since then.
Brian and his wife, Megan, share a blended family of five children, and he has had the opportunity to watch his children carry on the Putnam County tradition. He has also spent decades giving back—coaching youth sports, serving 15 years as president of Putnam County’s fifth- and sixth-grade football program, and officiating football for 32 years and basketball for 22.
Ask Brian what Putnam County means to him, and it comes down to one word: pride.
This year’s honor is also bittersweet. Brian’s mother was thrilled when she learned he had been selected as Grand Marshal and wanted to make sure the assembly and parade were recorded so she could watch. Sadly, she passed away just a few weeks before Homecoming. Brian describes her as his biggest supporter, making her memory an especially meaningful part of this honor.
Pride in family. Pride in community. Pride in the blue and white. .
