Once again, it’s time to stop another stupid law that’s in committee- this one targets dragged performers and is a failed bill in 2024 that Republican legislators are trying to recycle again in 2026. Here’s how to stop them:
1. Email your opposition testimony to [email protected] or [email protected]
2. You must do so by 9:30 AM tomorrow (Tuesday, March 17)
3. If you can show up Wednesday morning at 9:30 for the opposition hearing and you have submitted your opposition testimony - you may get a chance to testify in front of the committee. Expect a large number of people to be in attendance ready to testify if that’s the case expect a long delay before you potentially testify
4. Do not let your work schedule get in the way of you testifying be sure to send your email in by tomorrow at 9:30 AM.

Let’s stop sh*tty bills from getting to the house floor 🤝

Fantastic news about the TPS extension for our friends in Springfield. Many of them lost their jobs due to employers letting them go with the pending expiration of TPS protection. There is still a humanitarian issue happening here in Springfield - cannot stress this enough, please do not come to Springfield unless you are invited by an organization here in town. This is the request of the locals that are here working within the immigrant and refugee community. Here are two ways how you can help:
1) donate diapers and non-perishable food items to
2) donate what you can to for other financial assistance that will be given directly to immigrants and refugees in need.
