I am originally from the Bay Area in California, where most of my family still resides. My immediate family moved around quite a bit, so adjusting to new faces and places became part of my passion in connecting with all walks of life. I moved to Portland, Oregon in 1989. Shortly thereafter, I met my best friend and asked him to marry me in 1996. Together, we share the love of our life, our son, Luke. My experience includes; property management, corporate housing relocation, real estate sales for new construction, resale and investment properties. Many of my clients are corporate VP’s, buyers, seller’s, builders, and investors. For almost a decade, I was a broker for a developer and builder in new home construction sales. I worked closely with a reputable home builder that specializes in high performance homes, where I received my Earth Advantage certification. Other certifications and designations include: Certified Negotiation Expert and Certified New Home Sales Professional. I believe a home is one of the most important investments one can make, and deserves to have the best representation to ensure a smooth experience in every detail of the investment. After more than 20 years in real estate, here’s what I’ve learned that no one really tells you:

Not every client is yours to serve. Character, communication, attitude, and willingness matter on both sides of the relationship.

No two transactions are ever the same. Every client, every challenge, and every situation teaches you something new.

Over the years, I’ve learned how to navigate chaos, solve unexpected problems, work through difficult personalities, and adapt when a transaction changes course overnight.

And contrary to what many people think, a higher price point doesn’t always mean a more complex transaction. Some of the most challenging deals I’ve ever handled were not the most expensive ones.

I’ve also learned that sometimes you work for free. Realtors can invest months—even years—guiding, educating, and supporting clients without ever seeing a paycheck. It’s part of the profession.

Yet often, the most difficult transactions become the most rewarding. Those are the moments when you become more than a Realtor. You become a trusted resource, an advocate, a problem solver, and sometimes the person who refuses to give up when everything seems to be working against your client.

Most importantly, I don’t just sell homes.

I sell lifestyles.

A home is simply the backdrop. The real story is the life being lived inside it.

Whether it’s empty nesters starting a new chapter, a growing family needing more space, first-time buyers building a future, investors creating opportunities, or someone navigating a major life transition, every move begins with a lifestyle change.

My job isn’t just to help clients buy or sell a property—it’s to help them find the place that supports the life they want to live.
