Two Avanath executives take the stage at AAREP LA's "Housing as Infrastructure: A Curated Conversation with CRE Leaders" in Los Angeles on October 1.
The program examines affordable housing as critical economic and community infrastructure, connecting capital, operational scale, public-private partnership, and talent to advance economic mobility and community stability.
Carly Stevenson, Executive Vice President, Property Management, and Saul McDonald, Senior Vice President, Head of Capital Markets, open the evening with a panel on capital, scale, and impact in affordable and workforce housing. They'll bring perspectives on acquisitions, capital raising, and operations, including the formation of Brighthaven Communities, and speak to how capital structures, real estate platforms, and public-private partnerships can support long-term affordability while creating value for communities and investors alike.
The evening brings together leaders from across the housing ecosystem, including Innovative Housing Opportunities, Brighthaven Communities, April Housing, and the Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino, alongside Avanath.
Joining Carly and Saul from the Avanath team:
Troy Jenkins, Senior Vice President, Investor Relations
Kelly Walker, Vice President, Marketing and Community Engagement
Tori Stevenson, Intern, Business Development
Noah Johnson, Senior Analyst, Investor Relations
