Huge thank you to all my clients who joined me yesterday for some ice cream at Creme and Chocolats. It was so wonderful to get so many hugs and catch up.

To each and every person who has supported my business over the last 9.5 years, I am so deeply grateful. I remember those early days in the business saying I would be in the business more than a decade but knowing so many struggle to make this industry work for them. As I approach my 10 year anniversary (not until April), I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am for all of the support over the years.

However, I also feel like I am just getting started! 😂

When a space feels right, buyers linger longer. And that feeling? That’s intentional.
This is often one of the hardest things for me to help sellers understand. I read comments that others make in facebook groups like "They aren't there to buy your furniture. Your decor doesn't matter." And that sounds reasonable and logical... However, humans make decisions based on emotion and then back it up with logic and reasoning.
We have enough data to know that at least half the population cannot picture a room different than it is when they stand in it. Buyers aren't logically standing there thinking, I don't like their decor. They just know that the room feels off to them AND THAT is what staging is all about. It is the psychology behind the design.
The good news is you don't need to be a professional designer to sell your home, this is an area my stager and I can advise and assist with.

In my work, I’m constantly reminded that great homes aren’t just about design trends, but about how a space supports everyday routines. The space you live in can support your lifestyle or add to your stress.

A larger pantry can help with keeping a kitchen feeling more organized and support you in cooking more often for your family. A hood that vents to the outside can make it easier to enjoy cooking while minimizing odors to your home. A kitchen that opens to a covered patio can support those morning coffees with your loved one while you watch the sunrise.
