‼️ I know some of the good welders around the area have hung it the last couple years. WELL DESERVED RETIREMENT. And if any of those guys are still doing welding for you — NEVER EVER is it my intention to take away their business. But for those who no longer have somebody for welding?? ⬇️⬇️

✅Now offering multiple types of welding!! MIG, TIG, and STICK. Officially, added onto the Insurance policy. Have been a certified welder of certain processes since 2021, but still had a main guy doing all of my welding until this past year because I wasn’t going to buy a cheapo welder to get by. Wanted to be patient to buy the exact unit I wanted. Well, he hung it up completely last year, so it pressed me to make that investment.

✅ Some Coalmont history ✅

Unfortunately the main recording device overheated, and shut off recording. Picked up recording with iPhone shortly thereafter, and then when the main device cooled off, resumed recording with it. Very unfortunate… but still was able to record most of it! Except did not get the scholarship recipients for this years grads from Shakamak.
The two scholarships are as follows —

1.) Must have a relative that graduated Coalmont High School.
2.) The other scholarship is somebody who is going into a teaching profession for the Francis Birdsong scholarship.

🎃 Inbound to Coalmont!!! We’re going to have pumpkins FOR SALE again this year. Right on the highway. Got quite the variety this time. Some of the biggest jack-o’-lantern pumpkins around!!!!🎃

So excited. All four of the RV sites are booked for the upcoming eclipse. Which forced me to get 4 park passes. All the existing RV sites and the upcoming RV sites will include a State Park pass. Didn’t anticipate to have the first 4 booked at once.
But it’s exciting and so much more to do!!! Signage, Beautifying the existing sites, AND More to come, Lord willing!

😃⛺️🚐Happy that we have both of our new full service, RV pads rented out for two days each during the upcoming eclipse. More listings to be put online and hopefully some different opportunities. Have been way too busy with the trucking and excavating side of the house to get everything posted. But we know we only have three weeks left…. We’re grateful and thankful for new opportunities.

Trying to put together a very beneficial AirBNB guidebook of the Shakamak area. I want to show possible travelers what our area has to offer.

I am asking any of you who think they know something that should be placed in this guidebook to include ONLY towns of Coalmont, Jasonville, Howesville, Hymera, Lewis, Clay City.

It should include things such as sightseeing, restaurants, things to do, some specific location / extra cool view / landmark that you personally would believe that somebody who was staying in our area might want to check out. For example — something I might think of in that regard would be the Sanders Cemetery as it is known to have possibly been an Indian burial ground. You get the idea!!!

Problems — causing some revamping and fixing some things correctly!! Standby. 🛑

Hot water heater hasn’t worked in the office since owning this place. So if everything is getting re-piped?? Now is the time to put in a new water heater. Not using electric like had been there. Gonna run gas over the furnace wall to the water heater. Fixing some things that had been rigged. PEX to both water spickets throughout the shop. To the water heater. The office bathroom — to include shower, sink, and toilet.

Secretary will be happy for hot water now at the sink in the office. And the owner will be happy to not have any more PVC throughout the shop!!! 

Owner has never used the shower in the office since ownership! That will change. Well, maybe maybe not…

A lot of stuff has had to be moved to the office. The office has been absolutely on point lately. So much stuff left behind from previous owners. Things that are going to go to the yard sale barns. And plenty going to the trash. ..
