Gina Madeya Real Estate Agent in Kirkland WA Trusted Advisor, Proven Results. As an adult, I developed a deep interest in real estate investment, buying and selling homes and condominiums.

REALTOR®, Kirkland Planning Commissioner, Vice Chair of WA REALTORS® Legislative Steering, NAR Federal Political Coordinator, NAR Housing Opportunities Committee Member, Zillow Premier Agent, 5 ⭐️ REALTOR®, LGBTQ+ Raised by a successful entrepreneurial father and real estate broker mother, my passion for real estate began as a child watching my mother help her clients and assisting her with creating marketing flyers and other small tasks. My grandparents were very active in the purchase and sale of properties that now make up much of modern-day Atlantic City and I remain inspired by the since yellowed newspaper clippings documenting their many achievements. While rewarding, I often felt something was missing in the consumer experience. After 25 years in corporate leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase and Microsoft, I transitioned into real estate to continue my family’s legacy—this time with a strong focus on client education and advocacy. Now, as a City of Kirkland Planning Commissioner, I have an insider’s perspective on the intersection of real estate development, policy, and community growth. I am also honored to serve as the Vice Chair of WA REALTORS® Legislative Steering, shaping industry standards on a national level. As a NAR Federal Political Coordinator to Senator Maria Cantwell, I work with fellow FPCs to be the face and voice of real estate in Congress, advocating for property rights at the federal level. Additionally, my role on the NAR Housing Opportunities Committee allows me to champion affordable housing solutions nationwide. Beyond advocacy, I am a committed industry leader and investor. As an RPAC Golden R President’s Circle Major Investor, I put my money where my mouth is—supporting REALTOR®-friendly candidates at the federal level. Since 2018, I have proudly held the Five Star REALTOR® designation, an honor given to top professionals for outstanding client satisfaction and performance. As a Zillow Showcase Listing Agent, I ensure my clients’ properties receive maximum exposure in today’s competitive market. My dedication to the community extends beyond real estate. I serve on the Board of Directors for Alpha Supported Living Services, which provides essential care and training for individuals with developmental disabilities across King, Snohomish, and Spokane counties. This work fuels my passion for making a meaningful impact in people’s lives. With a range of professional designations, including REALTOR®, AHWD, ABR®, CLHMS, PSA, and RENE, I am well-equipped to guide both buyers and sellers through complex transactions. My approach is strategic and results-driven:

- For buyers, I offer a hands-on experience—helping you understand the market, find the right home, and craft competitive offers aligned with your financial goals and risk tolerance.

- For sellers, I focus on maximizing your home’s value through expert preparation, pricing, and marketing strategies that ensure broad exposure—locally and globally. Backed by the Windermere Foundation, the Pacific Northwest’s most trusted brokerage, you can rely on me for expert guidance every step of the way, delivering the experience and results you deserve. When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy exploring local restaurants, wineries, parks, and events, as well as traveling to discover new places or reconnect with family and friends. License: 114063

Are you 1 in 4 million?

If you don't own a home yet, rent is probably the biggest monthly expense you have. And if you're not getting credit for paying it - now you can.

There’s a change rolling out now that lets renters opt in to counting their on-time rental payments toward their credit history. And that could help as many as 4 million more people qualify for a mortgage.

Maybe you’re one of them.

Even if you're not ready to buy a home today, there's no downside to taking simple steps to build your credit profile for the future.

It's time to take credit for bills you already pay. Ask me how.

Thoroughly enjoyed attending the amazing State of the Industry REALTOR® event at the beautiful The Museum of Flight.

From national economic trends to REALTOR® and Northwest Multiple Listing Service - NWMLS leadership and emerging policy changes, this event connected over 200 professionals eager to gain a better understanding of the forces shaping the greater Seattle market.

Beginning with the Seattle Development & Policy Update with , it was particularly encouraging to see the success Seattle has had in converting commercial buildings to residential. As a Planning Commissioner for the City Of Kirkland, this is an important housing policy that I look forward to examining for our city.

As the incoming chair of Legislative Steering for Washington Realtors, I particularly appreciated the State Legislative & Housing Policy Update with , , and . A quick recap of the legislative wins we’ve helped to secure illustrates the power of our organization’s advocacy efforts and punctuates why I’m a proud member of the ® organization. I look forward to continuing this great work in the upcoming 2027 legislative session.

The future of Seattle Real Estate was an interesting panel talking about how we need to focus on service and help Clients best navigate the shifting market.

Perhaps most eye-opening was the presentation on Market & Economic Outlook with Logan Mohtashami aka HousingWire’s very own “Chart Daddy “. It was a very interesting summary of the history of housing economics, and his informed an expert take on why we are going through a healthy cycle and should not be overly concerned or buy into the nay sayers convinced that the market is about to crash.

Finally the update from Justin Haag, CEO of the Northwest MLS regarding our successful navigation of the lawsuit against it pertaining to Private Listing Networks and navigating a solution through a seller option called First Look, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to the value of an open, transparent, and cooperative marketplace for the purchase and sale of real estate.

A special appearance by the Seahawks Blue Thunder Drumline made this incredibly informative session that much more spectacular. I look forward to next year’s event!

What could a neighborhood café, corner market, or small local business mean for your neighborhood?

Join me at the next Kirkland Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, October 22, at 6:00 p.m. We’re scheduled to continue discussing Neighborhood Stores and Services, exploring potential code changes that could allow more small businesses and services within residential neighborhoods.

The project considers opportunities to make everyday errands more convenient, support local businesses, and create places for neighbors to connect, alongside considerations such as parking, traffic, noise, and compatibility with surrounding homes.

Attend in person at Kirkland City Hall, Council Chambers, 123 5th Avenue, or join via Zoom. Community members are welcome to listen and share comments during the designated public comment portion.

Your perspective matters as we help shape Kirkland’s future. I hope you’ll join us!

Eastside Market Update | September 2026 🏡📊

Main Takeaways:
💰 Median closed price is $1,425,000, down 10% from last year

📈 Active inventory is up 49% from a year ago, giving buyers far more homes to choose from

📊 Months of supply rose to 4.1, up from 2.3 last year, keeping the Eastside in buyer’s market territory

📉 Pending sales are down 17% year-over-year as buyers take more time to decide

Current Conditions:
• The 30-year fixed rate averaged 6.86% in September, up from 6.35% a year ago, and the latest published rate is 7.28%

• At today’s rates, a $1,425,000 home costs about the same each month as a $1,575,000 home did last year, so lower prices haven’t made homes much more affordable

• Over the past 12 months, only about half of new listings closed, down from 61% the year before

What This Means:
Sellers are holding firm and buyers are being selective. Sellers need sharp pricing, strong presentation, and a compelling reason for buyers to choose their home. Buyers have more selection and room to negotiate, but they should weigh the full monthly cost, not just the price. If the home fits and you plan to stay six years or more, waiting for the perfect bottom of the market may matter less than you think.

Another successful fundraiser for Alpha Supported Living Services! Thanks to the generosity of those in attendance, we raised $100,000 to support Alpha’s important, ongoing work providing housing and services to adults and children with disabilities.

As the sister of someone with disabilities, this cause is near and dear to my heart. It’s why I chose to serve on Alpha’s Board of Directors, and why doing so brings me so much joy.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this event such a success!

Thoroughly enjoyed attending the Housing Solutions Breakfast at the W Hotel in Bellevue. Hosted by the incredible Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, the focus was on the various policy choices that shape housing outcomes. It was lovely to see Habitat for Humanity acknowledged as the Housing Solutions Community Partner of the year.

Em Stone, Senior Housing Policy Advisor for Governor Bob Ferguson, shared her personal story of housing insecurity, and how that has shaped her journey into this area of public service.

Most notable was former governor Christine Gregoire, current CEO of Challenge Seattle sharing her perspective and suggestions on the conditions and forces that need to be addressed to continue enabling the Puget Sound region to be an area where people and businesses want to come, stay and grow.

As a real estate broker, REALTOR®, and Kirkland Planning Commissioner, I appreciate that these complex issues impact our communities and people in a variety of ways, and am grateful for the partnership of entities like MBAKS, Habitat for Humanity and electeds at all levels of government to work together to tackle them.
