I just got word from a local lender that the ODVA Home Loan rate has dropped to the low 5% range! If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to jump into the market, this might be it.

What is the ODVA Home Loan?
Unlike the federal VA loan, this is a state-funded program managed by the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs. It’s a specialized mortgage product designed specifically for those of us who have served and are looking to plant roots in Oregon.

How it Works
It’s a bit different than the standard VA loan, but the perks are huge:
No Funding Fee: Unlike federal VA loans, there is no funding fee required.
Low Down Payment: You can get started with as little as 5% down.

Who Qualifies?
