Born in Wooster, Ohio, and raised on a 4th generation farm, agriculture, barns and horse breeding are a life-long passion. I am retired from public education after 20 plus years where I held a Visual Arts teaching license k-12, special education teacher license k-12, and principal 3-14 years of age license. I graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art Teaching Certificatio
n, and then attended Muskingum University and received a Master of Education in Leadership and Special Education. I am a life-long learner and, currently, I am also a licensed massAGE therapist and enjoy learning more about holistic health. After back surgery thinking I might have to sell the Newark farm because of the physical demands, I attended Hondros College and found my second career-REAL ESTATE! I have lived in many parts of Central Ohio and started owning property since I was 25 years of age. I have bought, lived in and sold a condo, a small starter home in Upper Arlington and now live on a 16 acre farm just north of Granville, Ohio, where I raise my son and bred American Quarter Horses. I have been an extremely active member of many horse breed associations affiliated with the American Quarter Horse Association and have competed at the national level winning many national titles. I love to embroider and design apparel and also enjoy water therapy classes where I work with many older people who are disabled. I know the islands on Lake Erie like the back of my hand and can help locate a vacation paradise for you and also spent a lot of my winter weekends on Pine Island, Florida. After Hurricane Ian destroyed our family winter home, I had the experience of demolishing and assisting with the legalities of the sale of the property with Florida agents and Lee County county personnel. Island time and real estate time are about the same-we go fishing when the tide dictates and the sun shines and plan for the next adventure when the rain hits and enjoy conversations with a beverage of choice and enjoy the company that presents all the fun parts of life.
