This Sunday was a bit different. Had the opportunity to sing on stage with a bunch of people I met once I walked into FBCG doors for the first time back in 2009. broke down something people donā€™t realize ā€” a lot of folks think other countries are ā€˜behindā€™ simply because they havenā€™t been exposedā€¦ or because their algorithm only shows them the negative.

Social media can shape your worldview in the best way or the worst way. If all you ever see are outdated clips, poverty content, or fear-based narratives, you start believing the whole world looks like that.

But once you travel, learn, and see it yourself, you realize there are countries with better infrastructure, cleaner systems, and smarter real estate opportunities than what youā€™ll find in some U.S. markets.

Exposure changes judgment. Knowledge changes options.

Post what your audience actually wants ā€” not just what you prefer. Even if it brings controversy. Even if it pushes you out of your comfort zone. Thatā€™s how you grow, connect, and build trust online.

We also got into the state of the fitness industryā€¦ and letā€™s be honest ā€” itā€™s been watered down. Anybody can call themselves a trainer now, no matter what kind of shape theyā€™re in.

But your body is your rĆ©sumĆ©. Your discipline is your credibility. If youā€™re not living the lifestyle, you canā€™t lead people through it.

Same with real estate and property management ā€” the standard you hold yourself to becomes the standard your clients expect. Low effort brings low results. High standards build real businesses.

A lot of folks only think about living abroad after retirementā€¦ and even then, they hesitate because they assume other countries arenā€™t modern, donā€™t have the tech, or donā€™t have the systems weā€™re used to.

Truth is, thatā€™s just a lack of exposure. There are places overseas with advanced infrastructure, highā€“quality living, and real estate opportunities that stretch your dollar way further than most U.S. markets.

As investors and property managers, we canā€™t afford to think small or local-only. Real estate is a global game now ā€” and the more you learn, the more options you unlock for your lifestyle and your portfolio.

Donā€™t let old assumptions block new opportunities.

And honestly, that applies to property management too. You donā€™t build a strong business by chasing statusā€¦ you build it by serving the people who trust you, staying consistent, and delivering results whether the client is a celebrity or not.
