I’m back in Brandywine today until 5pm, for open house day 2 in the beautiful Spring Hills community!✨🏡

But trust, I got my praise and worship on thanks to Ebenezer A.M.E. Church’s stream and you can’t convince me that today’s message was not just for me!🙌🏾. Thank you Pastor G, it could not have been more timely: “Stop looking down…for one that’s where all the distractions are but most importantly you can’t see where you’re going…keep YOUR eyes on Jesus!🙌🏾

Now if you told yourself that 2026 was going to be the year that you bought your first home, your move up home or even decided to downsize, don’t become so distracted by all the chatter that you miss your window. Remember, buying/selling a house never offers a one size fit all solution. However it does require that one be ready when it is YOUR time and that means you need to create a winning strategy.

Today is more than cookouts, sales, and long weekends.

It’s a day to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country and never made it back home.

On Memorial Day, we honor the sacrifice behind the freedom so many of us enjoy every day. We remember the families who carried the loss. The soldiers whose names may not appear in history books, but whose courage changed generations.

We also honor the generations of Black servicemen and women who fought bravely for a country that did not always fight for them.

From the Buffalo Soldiers to the Tuskegee Airmen… from Dorie Miller to the countless unsung heroes whose names history forgot… their sacrifice, courage, and patriotism helped shape America’s story.

Memorial Day is a reminder that freedom has always carried a cost, and many paid that price while still fighting for equality back home.

We remember them too.

Today, we pause to say thank you.
Not just with words, but with remembrance.

May we never forget the price that was paid by those who stood for something bigger than themselves.

Honor. Courage. Sacrifice.
