This is more than an open house. This is an opportunity to celebrate student achievement and bring awareness to programs preparing young people for their future. 🏡
Prince George’s County Public Schools students have completed the school system’s first tiny house through the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, with support and partnership from the Foundation for Applied Construction Technology for Students (FACTS).
The student-built house project gives students hands-on educational experience while developing essential skills and practical exposure to the construction industry. This work is a powerful reminder that career readiness can begin in the classroom and grow into something tangible, valuable, and community-centered.
KWPP is proud to help bring awareness to this historic student accomplishment, the CTE opportunities offered through PGCPS, and the work of FACTS in creating pathways for students to learn by doing.
