After sixty plus years, I finally have everything I wanted as a teenager. No more school or work obligations—I receive a monthly allowance, have my own place, and enjoy the freedom of no curfew. I possess a driver’s license and my own car. My friends aren’t worried about teenage pregnancy, and thankfully, I no longer have acne. Life is wonderful. I even replaced my car horn with gunshot sounds; it seems to make people move out of the way much quicker.

Gone are the days when girls cooked like their mothers; now, they drink like their fathers.

I missed going to the gym today, marking five years in a row. I’ve also stopped calling the bathroom “John” and renamed it “Jim.” It feels much better to say I went to the Jim this morning.

Old age is arriving at the worst possible time.

As a child, I thought “nap time” was a punishment, but now it feels like a mini vacation.

The biggest lie I tell myself is, “I don’t have to write that down; I’ll remember it.”

I don’t have gray hair—I have “wisdom highlights”! I’m just very wise.

If God wanted me to touch my toes, He’d have placed them on my knees.

Last year, I joined a support group for procrastinators. We haven’t met yet.

Why do I have to press one for English when you’re just going to transfer me to someone I can’t understand anyway?

Of course, I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice.

At my age, “getting lucky” means walking into a room and remembering why I went in there.

I have more friends I should send this to, but I can’t remember their names right now.

Now, I’m wondering... did I steal this meme from you, or did you steal it from me?

I am old and I just realized I still have so many unanswered questions!!!! I never found out who let the Dogs Out...where's the beef...how to get to Sesame Street... why Dora doesn't just use Google Maps...why eggs are packaged in a flimsy paper carton, but batteries are secured in plastic that's tough as nails...why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed... why "abbreviated" is such a long word... why lemon juice is made with artificial flavor yet dish-washing liquid is made with real lemons... why they sterilize the needle for lethal injections... and, why do you have to "put your two cents in" but it's only a "penny for your thoughts" where's that extra penny going to... why do "The Alphabet Song" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" have the same tune... why did you just try to sing those two previous songs... and just what is Victoria's secret? ...and do you really think I am this witty?? ... I actually got this from a friend, who stole it from her brother's girlfriend's, uncle's cousin's, baby's momma's doctor who lived next door to my old class mate's mail man...Now it is your turn to take it from me...Peace!!

Good morning FBF! It’s Friday and I’m praying you have a fantastic fun day. It’s cloudy but dry here where I am and very nice morning. A cool 70 degrees right now. I wanted to leave you with an encouraging word for today taken from Joshua 1:9:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Also, Be soft.
Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let pain make you hate.
Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness.

We will be in the parking lot of the Staybridge Hotel waiting for you and the children to grab a book bag filled with school supplies to get your school aged children ready to learn🩷

Good afternoon Facebook Family. I want to first give thanks to God for an amazing day on yesterday. The Mother-Daughter luncheon was awesome. Thank you to Apostle Kathy Mason for speaking into the hearts of the women present. Thank you to my Right Hand helper in the ministry, Deaconess Mildred Brown who will be elevated in February of 2025. Thank you to my God's Chosen Vessels Inc.(GCV) family who showed up you all know who you are. I love you all to life, and the many others who were there, bless you. My beautiful and supportive daughter-n-love, Tonya Hall, thank you. To all the vendors thank you. To our caterer, Joi's catering company, the food was sooo delicious, thank you. Also, a great thank you to our supporters and sponsors - Restoration At The Well Outreach Ministry, Olive Garden, Outback Restaurant.

After each day of creation, the Bible says, "God saw, and it was good," which affirms the original design and intent of creation. God created humans for his pleasure and so that they would have the pleasure of knowing him. He gave them good work to do so that they might experience his goodness and reflect his image by caring for the world and each other.

When people look at you, what do they see? Why be an orange when you were created to be an apple. Don’t try to fit into a mold others are trying to put you in. You were created in His image, so shine like the star you are. ⭐️

Another thing, don’t be a parrot in life, be an eagle. A parrot talks too much but can’t fly high. But an eagle is silent and has the power to touch the sky. (Food for thought)
