Hi Friends!
As some of you know our son, Kendric has been suffering with very painful, recurring sickle cell crises over the past several years. His illness has impacted our lives greatly, spending 79 days in the hospital in 2024 alone.
In September, Kendric underwent a groundbreaking procedure to increase his normal red blood cell production and ultimately free him from these painful episodes.
With intense chemo as a part of his treatment, Kendric is currently suffering with many side effects, in addition to some of the trauma associated with the isolation of being immunocompromised. We still have several months of medical follow ups before he is able to fully return to normal activities but we are prayerful that God will continue to see us through.
Our dear friends have started a Go Fund Me campaign in hopes of easing the financial burdens that come along with chronic illness.
