Landords, Ready for never ending leases? No? Then, it's time you get vocal... The Good Cause proposal is being voted on (for the 7th time). This is legislation to further restrict your ability to manage your very expensive real estate investment. This new law will force you to automatically renew leases for tenants with no regard for your financial ability or willingness to continue.

As written, you may not be able to reclaim your property at the end of the lease if your Holdover Tenant refuses to leave and continues to pay. This legislation will make term leases toothless and possibly unending.
