This might be true!! Ok, it is true, even after the various Masters of Real Estate have spent the last 2 decades preaching about achieving a work-life balance. For me, the breaking point was showin homes on the hottest (or coldest) days of the year while dreaming of palm trees and blue oceans.

Yes, The Realtor Life is, frankly, complicated. It helps if your significant other has enough empathy to make you eggs and toast for dinner before you run off to your 8 PM showing that's a good 45 minutes away.

I know not many in the US have seen "I Swear" yet, the touching screen story of Britain's leading Tourette influencer. The brilliant actor who played the part, Robert Aramao, had the chance to meet OUR NextGen Tourette influencer, my grandson Levi Baldwin, at TicCon today in Nashville. Wow!!

What's summer without live theater I know as a teen, getting to be an usher at my hometown theater festival, was the start of something big in my own life (reporting and writing about it for newspapers and magazines) . Now, talented young people right here in Montclair can BE in summer theater while friends, family and passionate parties can watch and maybe it will change their lives.

Do fences make good neighbors or just give you the privacy you're ready for? Either way, poetic or not, I'm suggesting that boring fences that look great for a second and then turn gray and soon lose their form, have been supplanted by more creative ideas. I'm considering one like this, although it's only four feet tall and I'd like 5 ft. What are your thoughts on the fence discussion - and why? Love a few comments.

Noting with sadness the wonderful Peabo Bryson's passing. He performed late last year at our wonderful South Orange Performing Arts Center -- SOPAC -- in fine vocal fettle and with so much to say about life, in general - a real philosopher. Watching our older greats perform til the end (and he literally was on tour straight through) is a special treat when the talent and energy haven't diminished. Glad I didn't miss this performance.
