Emergency Management is the discipline of avoiding and dealing with both natural and man-made disasters. It involves preparedness, response and recovery plans made in order to lessen the impact of disasters. Emergency management can be defined as the discipline and profession of applying science, technology, planning and management to deal with extreme events that can injure or kill large numbers of people, do extensive damage to property, and disrupt community life.

Good morning Wyandot County Residents. The weather is being forecasted for severe weather this afternoon. Wyandot County has the possibility for Tornados, High wind, hail, and Thunder Storms.

Did you have outside stuff planned for today. Then you woke up to only realize it is raining. No problem Wyandot County EMS has got you covered. Come join us for a few hours at our open house. Got kids have them bring there favorite Teddy bear for our Teddy Bear clinic, want to learn CPR we got that to, we will be teaching hands only CPR, Do you have a loved one who has been wanting a gun safe? Well we have that covered also. You can purchase a 10 raffle ticket for a 39 gun safe. If you do not want to do any of that it is okay. Please just come take a look at or wonderful building the community has graciously provided us with.
