Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will work independently and with coworkers to improve and maintain multi-family housing.
- You may be called upon to work on any step of the painting process from prep to finish including spackling, caulking, drywall finishing, wallpaper removal, painting with brush and roller or sprayer, and clean up.
- You will assist in the general upkeep at all properties including cleaning of laundry rooms, stairwells, office, and other common areas. You will also periodically be tasked with the comprehensive cleaning of recently vacated apartments and recently remodeled apartments to make them move in ready.
- You will courteously interact with vendors, inspectors, and residents to serve and solve their problem.
Special Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required:

- Experience in the industry is valuable, but not necessary if you are willing to learn.

- Must have driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Must be punctual and reliable
Job Type:
Full-time (40 hours)
Pay:
$18 per hour
*Dependent on experience

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Industry related certifications appreciated, but not required

Work Schedule and Location:
- Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm with 30 minute lunch.
- Potential for flex schedule / alternate work schedule
- Primary location is multiple properties within the city of Urbana. Some travel to sister sites in northern Springfield may be required.
