The Hive 165 is ONE year old 🎉
One year ago, on her own birthday, our owner set her vision for this space into motion. The canvas was predominantly blank, and while the amount of work ahead may have seemed daunting to some, her vision - combined with the unwavering dedication of our contractor partners, designers, and local small businesses - turned that dream into reality.
Today, The Hive 165 begins with a beautifully restored storefront, now home to Qamar Café 🍵 Your new downtown Utica destination for traditional matcha, handcrafted iced coffees, and a wide selection of decadent pastries. Upstairs, you’ll find a fully furnished three story single-family rental designed to feel like your home away from home. Featuring three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, multiple gathering spaces, a spacious kitchen, and views overlooking historic Genesee Street, every detail was thoughtfully designed with guests in mind.
What was once a vision is now a place where memories are made.
