10 Years. And Just Getting Started. 🥂
Nobody runs this business alone.
I like to think of real estate like a restaurant. The chef gets the glory. But without the waiters, kitchen team, the bussers, the reception staff, and the designers who created the space - that 5 star experience never happens.
Real estate is no different.
Without lenders, processing teams, escrow, inspectors, appraisers, warranty companies, underwriters, brokers, assistants (and so many others) - not one deal closes.
Not one family gets their home.
Not one closing happens.
This business is a team sport and I am endlessly grateful for every single person who has been part of mine.
Lesson 9: Live in gratitude. Every single day.
Even on the hard days. Even when the deal falls apart. Even when all you can say is - I made it through today. That still counts.
I pause every single day and name 3 things I am grateful for. In my personal life and in business.
Because it is so easy to get bogged down in the day to day.
But this job has given me so much.
The people I get to meet and help.
The people I get to work alongside.
The memories.
The schedule and business I get to create on my own terms.
All of it.
And that gratitude fuels Lesson 10: Never stop growing.
10 years in and I still have so much to learn. And honestly? That is the best part.
What a boring job it would be if I already knew everything.
Growing means perfecting my craft, doing good work, and building Arlowe Homes into something even more beautiful alongside my incredible friend and business partner Felicia.
We have 11 agents - almost 12 🤭🤫- one incredible Executive Assistant, and us - just building something really special together. I love watching everyone just do their thing.
To my family, friends, wonderful clients, colleagues and team - thank you.
From the bottom of my heart. 10 years has been one incredible ride. Just an abundance of gratitude for it all. 🥹
I cannot wait to see what the next 10 holds.
