Most resort towns nationwide have seen the unanticipated positive effects of the pandemic--longer stays at short term rentals, higher off-season occupancy, homes selling in much faster than average time. One takeaway from this article, if you're hesitant to list your home for sale because it's in need of work, surprisingly enough, now might be the best time because of lack of inventory, thus lack of competition.

As inventory shrinks and visitors extend their stays, even fixer-uppers are flying off the market.
