City of Valdosta offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

Offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26.

Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that even though we are normally open on Mondays, we have decided to open *extra* early for the Memorial Day holiday at noon!

And we would like to offer all members of the military - active duty or retired - $1 off all pints, all day.

We'll be open 12-9 on Monday, and even if you're going out on the boat or to the beach in the afternoon, we hope you'll join us in the evening and raise a pint to those who sacrificed for our country! 🇺🇸 🍻

The City of Valdosta will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday.

The Sanitation Division will collect garbage only (green roll-out cans) on May 25. Bulk items and yard trash will not be collected that day. Regular bulk and yard trash collection services will resume on the following business day, Tuesday, May 26.

We appreciate your understanding and wish everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend.

🚧Traffic Alert🚧

Due to last week’s weather interruptions, work at 212 Northside Drive near Advanced Infusion Care will resume tomorrow and continue through Friday, May 22.

The turning lane and eastbound inside lane will be closed daily from approximately 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Traffic control will be in place to help direct traffic and detour eastbound drivers through the area.

We appreciate your patience as this work is completed.
