✨Wading barefoot in Civic Park’s new fountains felt like standing in the middle of San Antonio’s future. ✨
We’re not just preserving history—we’re building beauty into what’s next.
I joined a walking tour of Hemisfair last night, and it left me buzzing with hope for what’s coming.
This space, once known for the 1968 World’s Fair, is being thoughtfully reimagined with walkable gathering spots, family-friendly greenspace, and modern nods to our heritage. The new fountains at Civic Park invite kids and grownups alike to play, cool off, and feel at home in the heart of our city.
Even more transformation is ahead with Project Marvel, a proposed plan to bring a Spurs arena, expanded convention center, and better downtown connectivity across I-37. It’s bold, big-hearted, and designed to serve the people who actually live here.
🇬🇧Spending time in London showed me how public spaces shape identity—how they invite connection, spark joy, and elevate everyday life. I see that spirit rising right here in San Antonio.
