🌿 Happening This Weekend in Our Backyard 🌿
Spring Crafts at Lyndhurst returns to Tarrytown this weekend, and for our Hudson River Towns community, this is one to put on the calendar. 200 American makers spread across one of the most iconic estates on the river.
Three days to find something you’ll still have ten years from now.
May 1 to 3, you pull into and it’s already alive. Tents across the lawn, the mansion behind it all, neighbors and visitors moving in with intention and walking out with pieces they didn’t expect to find.
Booth after booth, the level stays high the entire way through. Jewelry built from raw materials, ceramics coming straight off the wheel, furniture that took real time to make, glasswork, textiles, fine art, woodwork, mixed media. Two hundred makers, all juried, all curated, all independent. You stop, ask questions, pick things up, put them back, then come back because something stuck with you.
Then you break for a minute and it turns into food, drinks, and a reset. Local distilleries pouring, wineries on site, food trucks and small-batch vendors worth stopping for. Grab something, find a spot, look out toward the river, then head back in because you know you haven’t seen half of it yet.
has been doing this since 1982, and it shows. The curation is tight, the quality holds, and Lyndhurst gives it room to open up. Kids activities run Saturday and Sunday, so it works whether you’re bringing the family or just moving at your own pace.
You go for an hour and end up staying three.
This is exactly the kind of weekend the Hudson River Towns do best, right around the corner from home.
