⚠️ SEVERE WEATHER REMINDER ⚠️

With the possibility of severe storms in our area, we want to remind the public that the school serves as a community storm shelter when needed.

The shelter can be accessed from Oak Street at the east gym entrance. The Fire Department is typically responsible for ensuring the doors are open and available for public access during severe weather events.

Please stay weather aware, have a safety plan in place, and monitor local forecasts for updates.

The Kansas Housing Resources Consortium has published revised 5-Year and Annual Plans for Fiscal Year Beginning April 1, 2026 and July 1, 2026 for Public Comments. The Plans will be available for review located at:
Atchison Housing Authority Office at 103 South 7th Street, Atchison, Kansas,
Holton Housing Authority Office at 100 Southern Heights, Holton, Kansas,
Linn Housing Authority at 305 Cedar Street, Linn, Kansas,
Valley Falls Housing Authority at 940 Frazier Street, Valley Falls, Kansas, and
Wamego Housing Authority at 1201 Chrysler Drive, Wamego, Kansas.

Five Public Meetings will be held as follows:

• December 9, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at Valley Falls Housing Authority Office.
• December 16, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Atchison Housing Authority Office.
• December 29, 2025 at 4:30 P.M. at Holton Housing Authority Office.
• December 29, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Wamego Housing Authority Office.
