Project Baywood:

This house was owned by the prior owners for over 40 years and it was absolutely neglected, it’s amazing the house was still standing when we acquired it. But with time and a plan, visions come to fruition.

I see it happen time and time again, but as a young one coming up in the game, I definitely view time as my biggest asset and so many others before me have been evidence of what time can really bring you. It’s just about applying the right pressure, keeping the same vision, and accomplishing micro goals over a long period of time that brings the WOW moments in life.

Flip #5 in the books! Each flip is a different journey, full of new lessons. The key take away from this project is to make sure you leave yourself multiple exit strategies and never stop learning. The greatest amongst all of us are constantly learning. The moment you think you’ve arrived is the moment you fall flat on your face!

This was my first with .jennyne and definitely won’t be our last together. The team and did an amazing job on ex*****on, getting in and out of this thing in 60 days. The vision for this house was so obvious from the second we saw it and I’m glad our vision got brought to fruition. I think the before and afters tell you everything you need to know about the space…what was once a dark, nasty dungeon is now a bright and warm space, ready for a new family to call it home. ⁣

Let me tell y’all! To some, it may just look like a small house and an oversized ADU, but for me, it was the beginning of bigger visions. Up until this point in my RE life, I had sold a few homes/flipped a few homes, which are all great accomplishments in there own right, but this was a different level of growth going through the ground up construction cycle…they are not simple, straight forward or easy. In theory they are, but it’s more than just building, it actually requires every fruit of the spirit to get across the finish line 😂.⁣

From paying a squatter $25,000 to vacate the property (welcome to the world of RE in LA), to having every type of delay caused by the city imaginable, we got it done. I definitely had a few sleepless nights and stressed out days, but God was with me through it all. ⁣
⁣
This was the first project my boy and I have ever completed together and I couldn’t have been more blessed to have a real friend and contractor on my side every step of the way. I know had some stressful weeks on this one as well, but with the teamwork came this final product. I’ll have a 3 episode video series coming out soon documenting the entire process, but until then, its time to keep flipping and building. More projects coming soon 🙏🏽.⁣

PS. If you’re considering taking a risk, take it! The most growth comes from the most trying times.
