Sometimes I catch myself cleaning up my son’s toys…
moving them off my desk…
trying to get rid of the mess.

But then it hits me…

These are our memories.

One day these his toys won’t be here anymore.
The house will be quieter.
And I’d probably give anything just to step on a wooden block barefoot one more time.

I guess Parenthood is interesting like that. ❤️

Your presence makes me feel unbelievably rich.

God placed you in my life at the perfect time. He knew I would need you… to find the strength to face one of the greatest losses of my life.

My father…

Angelo, you held me down without even knowing it. You kept me grounded when everything in me wanted to spiral out of control. It would’ve been easy to fall into anger… into rage… into self-destruction. Honestly, that would’ve been the simplest path to take.

But you changed that for me.

You gave me a different perspective. You helped me come full circle on life—on what really matters. You helped me break old patterns and start building something better… not just for me, but for you.

I pray that everything I go through becomes a life lesson for you. I pray it shapes you into a stronger, wiser, better man than I could ever be.

And I already see it in you.

I’m proud of the man you’ll become.

I love you, Angelo.

And Dad… I love you and miss you every single day. Thank you for all of your life lessons and until we meet again.
