When I am out networking and meeting new people and Realtors here in Florida many of them ask my story. I explain that I had an established inspection business in NW Ohio and SE Michigan for over 15 years before moving here to start over.
Many of them say "wow that must be hard", or "Why in the world did you do that" or a few have said " nice meeting you but I got my guy". They are all just being honest but it can be a grind and discouraging to say the least.
However, nothing good comes without struggle and the grind, success does not come without hard work and persistence, and a trustworthy reputation does not come without putting out a good product, exceptional service and getting the chance to show people what you can do.
As I continue to grow my business in Florida I am choosing to focus on the wins. Everyday find a win, no matter how big or small if you can find the win in every day things will happen and success will come! The wins are starting to come more frequently and I am grateful to all of the Realtors, associate friends and Home buyers for giving me the opportunity to offer them a top quality inspection experience!

First time homebuyer here.

We had Josh come out to inspect our home. We brought three young children, ocd in laws, AND WE ARE FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS… which means we had lots of questions and concerns. Josh was kind to us and told us if we had any questions to ask. We kept him busy for three hours or more with questions, concerns, and the inspection itself. We watched as he checked each window, outlet and other aspects of the inspection. He made time for my children’s questions and was patient in explaining things to them so not only I could understand but they could also. Once we were finished he told us to call if we ever had any questions. When we closed my vacuum wouldn’t work on any electrical outlet. I tried turning of the room breakers I tried and the master breaker. I tried turning on switches to see if outlets were connected to the switch. Nothing worked. I took my vacuum home and it worked fine. I was concerned about our electrical not being wired properly so I called. He was patient in explaining things to me and I told him all the things I had tried. It was very confusing for all parties. He told me to try turning off all the individual breakers to see if they were tripped and were not showing it. I turned off every individual switch kept them of for half a minute and then turned them back on. Voila. Problem solved. As a first time home owner these issues are new and stressful to me, but they can be common for those who work the field. I was so grateful to have Josh be willing to help me figure out the problem and diffuse the anxiety I had. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know needing an inspection done on their home.
