The Psycho house was one of the big draws of the Universal Tram Tour back in 1964, and continues to be the subject of much interest even now.
Over the years the house has been through a number of alterations and has even completely moved location twice after construction.
The Psycho house was built from a number of Universal’s stock units to save money. The front of the house and the distinctive tower was the same as that used in the “Harvey” house on Colonial Street.
Originally it consisted of just the left wall and the front of the house. In 1963 (photos below), the other side wall was added, and then in 1983, the rear of the house was added.
The house set has been moved three times since it was originally built.

Supo and Eniola, as well as their two boys, are our newest neighbors, having purchased Lot 16, Block D, Phase 3 of Blue Hills of Van Alstyne!

While being within the highly sought after Van Alstyne ISD, Blue Hills also features a beautiful landscaped entry, concrete streets, architectural street lights, large native trees, creeks, and some of the most beautiful homes in north Texas!

While all of these amenities make for the most beautiful place to build your “forever” home, perhaps the very best reason for living in the quiet, peaceful environment of Blue Hills, is the other great people who have chosen Blue Hills for their home!

Same amenities, same beautiful rolling hills, creeks, and native trees with new lots ranging from .86 to over 5 acres! Blue Hills neighbors, welcome Steve & Sherri Hunt! They have selected Lot 28, Block C, Phase 3 for their future home! When asked about why they selected Blue Hills, they commented about the natural beauty, the rolling topography, the creek, large native trees, and the wildflowers!

It’s also a big plus that Blue Hills has a landscaped entry, concrete streets, architectural street lights, underground utilities, and even 1 GIG fiber internet!

But, we believe one of the best reasons for choosing Blue Hills is the people, such as Steve & Sherri!

While on the tour, ask to see the new “coming soon” 73 lot subdivision Blue Vistas! It’s south of, and adjacent to Blue Hills, and is going to be breathtaking! Same “feel” as Blue Hills, but maybe even better? (Is that even possible?)

Have we ever pointed out, our best asset at Blue Hills are our great, friendly residents? And our newest friendly neighbors are Jim and Jennifer Duvall, and Louise Young! Jennifer is Louise’s daughter, and they’re going to be living on back to back lots! (Does Jim have a chance? 😂)

Escaping the crowded conditions of a nearby “big city”, they’re looking forward to enjoying the slower pace that Van Alstyne has to offer! Blue Hills, considered Van Alstyne’s premiere 1 acre neighborhood, was chosen by Jim, Jennifer & Louise because it’s the perfect blend of “country”, yet close to all city conveniences? Touting a landscaped entry, concrete streets, underground utilities, large native trees, rolling hills, creek, 1 GIG internet, beautiful homes on beautiful lots, and Van Alstyne schools makes it “perfect”! And, to top it off, they’ve chosen one of our approved builders, Cleve Adamson, Cleve Adamson Custom Homes to build their “dream / forever” home!

Join our friendly neighbors, like Jim, Jennifer, and Louise, and check it out for yourself!? Call, text, or email Paul Billingsly at (214) 878-8767, or [email protected] to quickly get more info back by text or email? If you like what you see, let us know, and we’ll arrange to give you a personal Gator tour.
