The KINGDOM of God.
This is Amy Roark story. Amy is 90+ days clean. She got a job. She decided to give her heart to God several weeks ago at New Life Fellowship Church. Yesterday, she was at my office(Lewis County Hope House) in Two Loaves Food Pantry. Here is a part of our conversation:
Me: Are you still going to church? (She goes to a church in Greenup, too where she works.)
Amy: Yes
Me: Have you been baptized yet?
Amy: I'm considering it.
Me:..... I could baptize you..... today.?
Amy: Yes, (okay).
Me: Are you sure?
Amy: You just confirmed it....
Amy was baptized last night at Vanceburg Christian Church .
It wasn't one person or one church. It was The CHURCH working in His Kingdom.

There are days when I don't realize how blessed I am. Then I see a person who has been sleeping in their vehicle get their first apartment. They asked if there was hot water then turned the water on just to see and feel it run.... Thank you, Lord. I know many prayers went up to you for this man and You provided a way.
