My top three favorite parts of Oregon are...

1) The Columbia River Gorge
The views are simply astounding! Multnomah Falls, Bridal Veil, and Crown Point are beautiful spots to visit, either by yourself or with friends and family. Even after living here for over 20 years, I have yet to get bored of the trails, views, and sounds of nature.

2) Portland Metro
Portland itself has a walk-score that is ranked 13th in the entire country. Daily errands can be taken care of very easily either by walking or biking. With grocery stores, local small businesses, restaurants, food trucks, and a great mix of second-hand shops and luxury brands, there is something for everybody!

3) Location, location, location! Major cities like Portland, Salem, and Eugene are only about an hour away from the coast, as well as an hour away from Mount Hood and other popular mountain destinations. There are fun activities all year in Oregon as the seasons change!

I have always loved history and learning about how everything has grown! Be it from millions of years ago to 100 years ago, I find it fascinating to know how it all started and how to got to where we are now. This timeline of how architecture has evolved from the year ✨1600✨ to the present is amazing! Can you imagine the stories and lives that played out in all these different types of homes? It makes me wonder how homes will look in the next several hundred years 🤯
