Real Estate Market Update! 😁

“As we close out the summer market in Clark County, we are seeing a gradual shift towards a more balanced market that’s moving at a slower pace than we have become accustomed to over the last five years or so. New listings are increasing year over year when we compare August 2025 to August 2024, and a 3.3% increase in new listings when we compare the first eight months of this year to last year.

One of the big things to note from this past month is the increase in market time to 62 days, an increase of 13 days over July. It’s important to have realistic expectations when you’re entering the market as a buyer or seller: it’s definitely not 2021 out there any more. Sixty two days, or just over two months, is still a very quick moving market in historic context, but it is a significant shift from the lightning-fast market of the post-COVID years.

No Stopping, Parking or Camping on Public Roads

In-N-Out Burger announced today that their Ridgefield location will open this week. While many are eager to visit, please remember: it is unlawful under state law and local ordinance to stop or park on public roadways in a way that blocks traffic.

The City has worked closely with In-N-Out Burger to create a Traffic Management Plan that keeps all customer lines off public streets. The plan includes active monitoring, coordination, and close communication with Ridgefield Police and Public Works.

Do not line up or camp on public roads. This is essential for safety, emergency vehicle access, and to ensure residents can travel to work, school, and essential services.
