Two of America’s best eateries are in Oregon, with one nestled in the Rose City serving up a “deep catalog” of phos and noodle plates.
The New York Times announced its “The Restaurant List 2025,” unveiling a roundup of the top dining spots in the country. A slew of reporters traveled to 33 states, eating more than 200 meals, to find this year’s best of the best.
Homemade rice noodles, a rarity and laborious practice, earned Portland’s The Paper Bridge a spot among America’s shining stars, along with its “deep catalog” of phos and noodle plates.
Located at 828 SE Ash St. are the flavors of Northern Vietnam, brought to Stumptown by co-chefs and spouses Quynh Nguyen and Carlo Reinardy.
