You may have seen the posts we’ve been tagged in, but I wanted to wait until we had some of the photos back from our photographer (Between the Pine) before making a post of my own.

On 8.8.2024, I was lucky enough to marry my best friend. When Becky Thompson and I aren’t at work, odds are you’ll find us somewhere in the mountains exploring this amazing place we call home. So, that’s exactly where we chose to have our wedding, and it couldn’t have been more perfectly “us”.

Thank you all for the outpouring of love and support. The amount of friends and family that have reached out has been nothing short of amazing. Here’s to our next adventure 🥂

Let’s talk mortgage rates💰

• June brought rates of 6% and over as the effects of inflation were felt throughout the country. Unfortunately this pushed buying over the edge of affordability for many, especially first time homebuyers, and resulted in record low mortgage demand.
• Now rates are falling slightly and stabilizing, resulting in:
— stable, or a decline in, purchase demand
— an increase in housing supply
— a deceleration in home price growth

What does that mean for you?

• with rates falling, buyers may qualify for a larger loan, increasing their buying power from June
• home prices may still increase, but at a much slower rate
• increased supply will lessen some of the hot competition experienced in the last year, giving buyers a better chance of having their offer accepted!
